Pan-European Certificate of Competence for Fireworks granted by the European Federation of Engineers in the Field of Explosives
The qualifications required for the fireworks profession are very different in Europe. Most countries have developed their own training courses in accordance with local regulations or in some countries there is no educational means in this regard.
Given that this problem is real and affects many countries, international companies and different industries, in a broader sense the European Federation of Engineers in the Field of Explosives – EFEE has decided to create a certificate of technical skills for firefighters to allow them. to demonstrate their skills and competences to work abroad without following an additional training process.
Partner countries represented are the United Kingdom, France, Romania, Portugal, Norway, Sweden, Germany and Estonia. The project will last three years, starting with the autumn of 2016. After the completion of the project, all the elaborated materials will be kept and made available by EFEE which will manage the web page created during the development of this project, the online course and the certifications.
